Orlando ranks in the top 20 for the nation for new apartment construction in 2016, according to insights from the Rent Cafe Apartment Rental Website.
- Orlando, currently at the 17 spot nationwide, projected to remain in an apartment building boom that will expand the metro’s rental inventory by nearly 7,000 new units available this year.
- Rental prices are not slowing down in the Orlando despite the intensified apartment construction. The average of an area apartment around $1,100, up 7 approx 7 percent from 2015.
- The high demand from millennials plus job growth and favorable demographics have helped favor Orlando’s apartment rental market.
