The Toho Square project located between Ruby Avenue and East Monument Avenue, includes a 400-space parking garage. These 37 one-bedroom apartments will be available soon as rental properties along with 13 town homes that will include small interior parking lots. The project is being led by Mosaic Development. The project will also include re-facing of the streets which will feature brick and white sidewalks to provide a cohesive tie to downtown Kissimmee.
The redevelopment is few blocks away from the future downtown Kissimmee SunRail station and less than a block away from Lakefront park. This parking garage and residential development is expected to be completed by summer of 2017 just a little in advance to the SunRail’s arrival in early 2018.
The next plan in development will be the Hansell Plant project which includes a 120-room hotel, a 260-unit apartment complex and 15,000 square feet of commercial real estate space. The commercial space is expected to be used for restaurants, convenience stores, office spaces or bike rental spaces.
